Mohan Babu and Chiru’s security updated
Mohan Babu and his sons have sought extra security from the city police to protect themselves from the Telangana protesters. The commissioner of police, Mr B. Prasada Rao, said: “Mohan Babu and his family members have asked for personal security officers in the wake of attacks on film shootings. We are analyzing the threat. It is the state-level security review committee that takes decisions on security.”
Some security personnel have already been guarding Mohan Babu’s residence. Mr Rao also said that police has provided security for many film shootings. He further added: “The Praja Rajyam chief, Mr K. Chiranjeevi’s request for additional gunmen is also being looked into. Previously, he has been given two personal security officers.” Meanwhile, responding to the threat of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on disrupting the New Year celebration, Mr Rao said: “We will give security to hotels and resorts.”
