6 new multiplex screens in Vizag

Vishakapatnam, the second largest city in the state of Andhra Pradesh, will soon have its first multiplex. Although there were attempts made in the past to bring multiplexes to the city, it's only now that the plan is actually going to materialize. Sea Valley Resorts, has tied up with INOX Leisure limited to launch 6 newmultiplex screens in Vizag later this month. With an investment of around Rs.100 crorees, Sea Valley Resorts has already earmarked a two-acre land to build a brand new hotel. In the same hotel, the firm is planning to build 6 newmultiplex screens with an investment of Rs.30 crores. The seating capacity of this multiplex will be around 1,166 and the hotel itself is touted to have 1.5 lakh square feet of parking space, which is the largest so far in the state. Sea Valley Resorts and Varun Group MD Prabha Kishore, unveiled the architectural design of this proposed plan and said that they have tied up with INOX Leisure limited. The tickets would be priced at Rs.150 and Rs.250 (recliner seats), which is the same what INOX is charging in itsmultiplex in Hyderabad.

The construction of this hotel and multiplex has almost come to an end and Sea Valley Resorts to planning to launch it either on March 12th or March 19th.
