Jana Reddy plans film with Chiru

After a 45-minute meeting with Praja Rajyam floor leader, Chiranjeevi, in his chamber in the Assembly, senior Congress legislator K. Jana Reddy announced that his son would soon produce a Telugu film with the former in the lead role. Mr. Reddy’s long meeting with the film star-turned-politician touched off speculation in the Assembly lobbies.

But to a volley of questions by media persons, Mr. Reddy merely said there was no political significance to it and that he called on him in his personal capacity. Mr. Reddy’s son and Mr. Chiranjeevi’s son, Ramcharan, were good friends and that the former planned to make a film. Mr. Chiranjeevi who was also there, refused to take questions.
